I am… on World Refugee Day

On World Refugee Day, observed on June 20 each year and dedicated to raising awareness of the plight of refugees throughout the world.

On this day and on every other day, let us all remember that behind the word ‘refugee’ there are people, who were forced to leave their homes and hopes, memories and dreams behind in search for a new safe home, as nobody leaves their home, unless they are forced to leave their home.Since 2015, we have been sharing with you stories of people from different parts of the world, showing the challenges they face in their daily life. With our campaigns and projects that we launched throughout the years, we managed to make some difference. We managed to Document, Educate, Help and Empower refugees, local communities and people internally displaced. For the world it is observed on June 20, for them it is every day of their lives.
On this occasion, the founder of Everyday Refugees Foundation,Muhammed Muheisen, a two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist and National Geographic photographer, will be taking over the Instagram feed of National Geographic to share the stories behind some of his most recent images, spreading awareness to millions of their audience.

A few weeks ago, we launched aFine Art Print sale for a limited period with the purpose of keeping our current campaign “we Are All In This Together” going.

“We are all in this together” was launched last April to help and support refugees, local communities and internally displaced people amid these challenging times we are all facing.

“I am…”, let us all remember that behind the word there is a soul, a voice, a past, a present and a future.
