In support of girls’ education and part of our most recent campaign “Education, a better future”, on Friday the 15th of January 2021, we handed out dozens of school kits to Afghan refugees and internally displaced Pakistani children in a makeshift school on the outskirts of Islamabad, Pakistan. This is the second school that we support since we launched this project in December.
This school kit consists of, a schoolbag, an annual curriculum, notebooks, pencils and other necessary items to equip each student for a full school year.
From the proceeds of a flash fine-art print sale donated by Muhammed Muheisen, a two-time Pulitzer prize-winning photojournalist and the founder of Everyday Refugees Foundation, we launched on the 2nd of December 2020 our project “Education, a better future”, currently this project is an ongoing campaign throughout 2021. The goal is a long-term commitment to support and empower as many children as possible to have their basic right of education.
Education is a pillar of our mission and the key to ensure a better future for each child with many possibilities.
