We are delighted to announce that yesterday morning, the 2nd of December 2020, we launched a project in Pakistan to support Afghan refugee children, mostly girls, in makeshift schools on the outskirts of Islamabad. Education is a pillar of our mission and the key to ensure a better future for each child with many possibilities. Our team handed dozens of school kits to Afghan refugee girls in a makeshift school on the outskirts of the capital. The kit of each girl consists of a schoolbag, an annual curriculum, notebooks, pencils, a small chalkboard and other necessary items. Around the middle of November 2020, Muhammed Muheisen a two-time Pulitzer prize-winning photojournalist and the founder of Everyday Refugees Foundation, launched a fine art print sale dedicated to support our ongoing campaign and projects. With the proceeds of his flash print sale that he donated, we started this project with the aim to keep it going and help as many children as possible to have their basic right of education. In support of girls’ education and part of our most recent campaign “Education, a better future”, on Friday, January 15, 2021, we handed out dozens of school kits to Afghan refugees and internally displaced Pakistani children in a makeshift school on the outskirts of Islamabad, Pakistan. This is the second school that we support since we launched this campaign in December. This school kit consists of, a schoolbag, an annual curriculum, notebooks, pencils and other necessary items to equip each student for a full school year.
