As part of our “Beat the Cold” campaign, one of many to come aiming to help and empower local communities and refugees in the country, along with Princess Alia Foundation our partner in Jordan.
Among these families was Rawda Awaad, a 27-year-old Syrian refugee mother of four children from Al Hasaka who expressed her appreciation: “These footwear will be so useful to walk in this harsh environment, it will ease our lives while moving around”.
Bashar Suleiman, a 15-year-old Syrian refugee who works in a farm nearby the tented settlement where he and his family live. According to Bashar, the footwear wil be so useful to move around and keep him warm.
